About John
John Morris comes to FSU from North Central Florida (Gator country), but his roots stem from Southern Pennsylvania. John, a Junior triple major in History, Political Science, and Statistics, juggles an intense course schedule with his duties as Secretary of the College Republicans.
During the 2008 election cycle, John was an intern with the Rudy Giuliani campaign, volunteered for the Ed Depuy and Peter Boulware campaigns, and also contributed to the efforts to elect John McCain. Throughout the cycle, he remained active in local politics in his hometown, helping to unseat a corrupt city commissioner, while participating in the Lloyd Bailey and Ward Scott campaigns in Alachua County. He was also highly active in the 2006 Charlie Crist campaign.
Outside of CRs, John remains focused on his rigorous academic schedule. He is currently writing a thesis for his major in history. He hopes to attend law school next year and is on track for graduation in Fall 2009.
